A CELEBRATION OF CO: A Gala for Humanity-Centered Learning

  • Boston Harbor Distillery 12R Ericsson Street Boston, MA, 02122 United States (map)

Come because you care about learning, young people, and the future of democracy.

SAVE THE DATE! On Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 6 to 10 pm at Boston Harbor Distillery, The History Co:Lab, iThrive Games, and Re-Imagining Migration are calling to A Celebration of CO: A Gala for Humanity-Centered Learning to celebrate the power of collaboration in transforming learning for young people.

Our education system today is failing to nourish and prepare young people for the world we live in. We must create new models of learning that support students’ ability to participate in and renew democracy. This means providing them with opportunities that help them grow up with a sense of belonging, build their ability to hold complexity, bridge across differences, and architect possibilities together.

A Celebration of CO: A Gala for Humanity-Centered Learning is a convening of educators, innovators, and philanthropic partners that starts with a simple truth: In community and in connection, we can go faster and farther to revolutionize learning.

Guests will enjoy food that celebrates the African diaspora prepared by the award-winning culinary team from Dorchester’s Comfort Kitchen, hear National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Tara Roberts reflect on the social and emotional work of exploration and discovery, meet the young people behind the Ambie Award-nominated UnTextbooked podcast, participate in an interactive fireside chat that supports our co-envisioning of a nurturing and nourishing learning system, and more.

We're excited to have you join us at the A Celebration of CO: A Gala for Humanity-Centered Learning. While an official invitation is on its way to you, we encourage you to mark this event on your calendar. Your presence will add to the richness of this moment of growth and opportunity to weave, dream, and do.

See you on the dance floor!
